Standing Ovation is a youngster movie of five junior high school friends form a singing group called "The 5 ovations" to compete in a national music video competition for a cash prize of $1 million. With narrow funds and resources, these street smart kiddos used their wits, nerve, and passion to produce a spectacular song and dance numbers that compete with their arc contenders "The Wiggies", five rich, talented, dishonest sisters who along with their parents, will stop at nothing just to win.
